- Copy of your federal return 1040
- W-2's
- 1099's
- Other supporting documentation
- Step 3. Complete the
registration to receive your password. Click here to
complete the registration and you will be emailed a password.
- Step 4. Login to NebFile
- Step 5. Answer the
questions and enter the information requested. If you need to
exit NebFile, click on the logout button in the top right corner
of your screen. Your information will be saved and you will be
returned to the page you exited from the next time you login.
- Step 6. NEW THIS YEAR -
You must upload a complete copy of your federal return along with
any supporting documentation to claim certain deductions and
credits.
- Step 7. File your tax
return. Your return has not been filed until you receive a
reference number.
